Description The torrential rains that fell throughout the province of Tshopo on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., caused flooding with losses of basic necessities. The floods have worsened following the overflows of the Congo River and some of its tributaries, namely: the Lindi and Tshopo rivers which flow into the Congo River at Kisangani, in the territory of Isangi the confluence of the Lomami River with Lokombe and in the territory of Basoko, the Aruwimi River , all these rivers have burst their banks to flood homes, this situation had started from the beginning of March 2026 to the present day.
