Since the activation of the MEHRD Emergency Operation Centre, the operations team continues to liaising with the Provincial Education Provider Offices for Choiseul, Western, Isabel and Guadalcanal Provinces. The MEHRD EOC team have prioritised communications for Western and Choiseul through phone calls, emails and WhatApps to get situational update from these provinces. As of today, the Education Provider Teams from Western Province and a team from Choiseul Education Provider officer are all deployed to affected areas identified during the ISO phase. MEHRD EOC 1. Made contacts with Education Providers teams on the ground and updating information of schools reported during the ISO. 2. Submitted the Education Sector 28 Day Immediate Response Plan to the NDOC for review and recommendation for approval. 3. MEHRD EOC team continues to consolidate impact data for coming in from teams on Simbo and Ranogga and South Choiseul 4. Communication between MEHRD EOC and ALL Education Provider Offices is still active.
