The International Programmes and Operations Directorate has adopted as its mission to respond, on behalf of the Turkish Red Crescent, to all natural and man-made disasters and emergencies occurring outside the borders of Türkiye. Following the provision of immediate humanitarian assistance, the Directorate also implements post-disaster recovery, rehabilitation activities, and development-oriented programmes aimed at strengthening the capacities of national societies in affected countries. Within the framework of the Turkish Red Crescent Strategic Plan (2021–2030), the Directorate implements projects and activities aligned with its strategic objectives.
