The absence of Site Management is already undermining core protective functions in IDP sites, including service gap monitoring, community feedback, inclusive governance, referral follow‑up, site safety audits, and flood and fire risk mitigation. With 4.0 million IDPs in need of Site Management support and 1.7 million targeted, the consequences of inaction include rising GBV, eviction and HLP risks, reduced accountability, and increased exposure to environmental hazards, particularly ahead of the rainy season. The alert proposes a mobile and area‑based Site Management model aligned with the CCCM Global Strategy 2025–2029, enabling prioritized coverage of high‑risk localities through scalable, roving teams while strengthening government engagement and inter‑cluster accountability.
