Through its Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), IOM developed the Transhumance Tracking Tool (TTT) to monitor transhumance movements and related vulnerabilities in the four regions and to support peaceful transhumance practices. Over the five-month period from November 2025 to March 2026, the TTT early warning system captured 151 alerts through trained enumerators, key informants, community representatives, and local authorities. These included movement-related alerts (66%) and sudden events (34%), helping stakeholders identify risks, inform timely responses, and support conflict prevention.
